Bavaria Sonor Licensing presents its successful brand portfolio at Brand Licensing Europe

Bavaria Sonor Licensing, the merchandising division of Bavaria Media GmbH, will be attending this year’s Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) in London from October 10-12, 2017. BLE is one of the most important European trade fairs in the merchandising and licensing industry.

The licensing portfolio that Bavaria Sonor Licensing will exhibit at their stand N12 will range from classic brands to characters, entertainment and sports rights In the brands section, one of the highlights of the trade fair will be the top-selling international children’s brand “PLAYMOBIL”. After many successful decades representing this classic brand in GAS, Bavaria has now been nominated as its worldwide licensing lead agent. Furthermore, Bavaria will also be covering GAS licenses on the upcoming “PLAYMOBIL” movie (produced by ON Entertainment/release in 2019).

Bavaria’s other top brand “emoji®”, the brand for digital ideographs used every day by billions, has also strongly continued its worldwide success story with more than 6,000 icons. Bavaria is handling GAS with 40 licensees in the region and growing.

In the characters section, Bavaria represents the children’s authors Helme Heine (Mullewap) and Janosch, whose works have been translated into more than a hundred languages. In 2018, the famous Janosch Tigerente will celebrate its 40th anniversary, which will be accompanied by special promotions and editions.

Among other rights in the entertainment section, Bavaria will be presenting the German telenovela “Storm of Love” – with over 4 million viewers daily in Europe, the series is one of the most frequently imported series on the continent. Bavaria will also be presenting season 2 of the animated “Marco Polo” TV series (26 x 25 minutes, target audience 3-8 years) airing on KIKA and internationally in 2018.

In the sports sector, Bavaria Sonor Licensing will present the brands „Tour de France“ and „Dakar“ at BLE.
